Understanding Cambodia

The team in Cambodia is getting up and getting ready for an emotional day. I've been texting with Pastor Setan Lee for the last 20 minutes about the schedule for the next couple of days. Today (Monday in Cambodia) they will visit the Killing Fields, the Genocide Museum and the Joy Day Care center.

Tomorrow (Tuesday in Cambodia) they are participating in a special ceremony that will be broadcast nationwide in Cambodia. The country is honoring us with a Medal of Honor - the third highest medal recognition honor they impart. We are humbled by this amazing gesture. Then, Tuesday afternoon - the first rice distribution.

Not long and we will hear from Ernest. He should be waking up and starting his Monday right about the time I post this update.

Thank you for praying for the Cambodia mission team today as they visit the Killing Fields. It's a humbling, sacred and horrifying place when you think about what happened there.

The Genocide Museum. The story behind this old photo is heartbreaking.
